Amazing work on Algebra

03 Mar

Year 6 students have been learning how to write and solve algebraic questions during their Maths lessons. At first quite a few of the students were nervous about the prospect of algebra. However, using practical equipment such as cubes and dinnes blocks enabled all pupils to make good progress. Students were able to substitute cubes for letters, which enabled them to create and write formula. You can see by the smiles on the pupils' faces that they enjoyed their lesson and they felt confident in writing and solving algebraic equations.
