Science

At Eastbrook School, our science curriculum from KS2 to KS5 is designed to inspire curiosity, foster critical thinking, and develop a deep understanding of the natural world. At KS2, we introduce students to fundamental scientific concepts and inquiry-based learning, encouraging them to explore and ask questions about the world around them.

As students progress to KS3, our curriculum builds on this foundation by deepening their understanding of biology, chemistry, and physics. We emphasize practical investigations, problem-solving skills, and the application of scientific knowledge to real-world scenarios, laying the groundwork for GCSE studies.

At KS4, we follow the AQA exam board for GCSEs, offering a comprehensive curriculum that challenges students to refine their analytical skills and understand more complex scientific principles. Our aim is to prepare them for success in their exams and to cultivate a genuine interest in science.

For KS5, we offer AQA A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, which provide rigorous academic challenges and encourage independent learning and research. Our curriculum is designed to prepare students for further education and careers in science, ensuring they are well-equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to succeed.
