Teamwork Takes Root in Year 4’s Hilarious Potato People Challenge

03 Mar

At Eastbrook School, Year 4 put their teamwork and creativity to the test in a truly spud-tacular challenge! As part of our Jigsaw PSHE lesson, the children worked in pairs or small groups to design and then create the funniest potato person possible.

This wasn’t just about crafting quirky characters—it was a lesson in compromise, communication, and collaboration. Over two weeks, from the initial design stage to the final creation session, I was blown away by how well the children worked together, showing patience, problem-solving skills, and plenty of laughter along the way.

The result? A field of funny fellows, each with their own unique personality and charm! From potato pirates to spud superheroes, every creation showcased the children’s fantastic imagination and teamwork.

Now it’s your turn—take a look at our gallery of pictures and choose which spud you like best!
