Eastbrook Sings

At Eastbrook School, music doesn’t just stay in the classroom. The fantastic Ms Clarke-Mcghie takes every opportunity to showcase the hard work her students put into their music lessons, with singing performances permeating through everyday life at Eastbrook. Here we can see a Year 7 form class performing for their peers in morning assembly.

Members of the school choir brought good cheer at local care homes, singing well known carols during the festive season. All seniors and staff were delighted!

Eastbrook School is an Ofsted rated Good, all-through school in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham and is part of the Barking Abbey family. Founded in 1933, Eastbrook has a well-established history of serving the local community, with many generations of families attending as students and even joining as staff. The primary school opened in 2016 and is growing in size year on year. The secondary school transferred into new, state of the art buildings in 2017, benefiting from purpose-built specialist learning environments with industry level resources and outstanding access to green outdoor spaces.

Eastbrook is a thriving and growing community school, welcoming students from a broad range of backgrounds, culturally, economically and in terms of need.
