Commitment to the Cause

We are PROUD of our Year 11s for the commitment to their GCSE studies, evidenced here as they spend their lunch break revising in the library.

Our library is open every day for Year 11 students who wish to revise quietly or in study groups. There are plenty of resources for them to make use of, such as past papers, PCs to work online and even expert teachers who also give up their valuable breaks for the cause (can you spot Ms Abbas brushing up on her maths?).

Eastbrook School is an Ofsted rated Good, all-through school in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham and is part of the Barking Abbey family. Founded in 1933, Eastbrook has a well-established history of serving the local community, with many generations of families attending as students and even joining as staff. The primary school opened in 2016 and is growing in size year on year. The secondary school transferred into new, state of the art buildings in 2017, benefiting from purpose-built specialist learning environments with industry level resources and outstanding access to green outdoor spaces.

Eastbrook is a thriving and growing community school, welcoming students from a broad range of backgrounds, culturally, economically and in terms of need.
