How did the Great Fire of London start?

16 Jan

Year 2 students made bread to reenact how the Great Fire of London started. The children went into the bakery on Pudding Lane, in 1666, and used yeast, oil, flour and salt to make rolls. They discussed how the fire started from the oven that Thomas Farriner used, and how this oven is different to the ovens that we use today.
