Eastbrook School enables all young people to develop and follow their ambition with confidence. Excellent teaching, preparation for challenge and a coaching culture ensure that all can make exceptional progress. Our inclusive ethos ensures equality and justice for all. We all contribute to a fair, confident and purposeful community in a welcoming, supportive and stimulating environment. Students are supported in developing safe and increasingly self -regulated behaviours that contribute to their own success and the well-being of others. We all listen, respect and reflect. We celebrate success and grow from mistakes. All students are well prepared for the next stage of their learning journey.
We are all proud of our school and we know that we play an important role in the wider community. We promote educational success for all and an enthusiasm to understand communities whose lives and experiences differ from our own.

Eastbrook School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our students and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This means that we have a comprehensive Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy and strong procedures in place which we refer to in our prospectus and here on our web site. All staff (including supply staff, volunteers and governors) ensure that they are aware of these procedures.
Parents and carers are encouraged to read the Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy which can be found alongside all school policies here. We are committed to working in partnership and share relevant information with other agencies when there are concerns about a child’s welfare. We will ensure that our concerns about our students are discussed with parents/carers first unless we have reason to believe that such a move would be contrary to their welfare. Our Designated Safeguarding Officer is Cherelle Hinds, who works closely with the Headteacher, Paul Frith and the Designated Governor for Safeguarding, Gill Ellis.
